We have approximately 25 active fire and EMS providers and supplemented by 10 career firefighters from the PG Fire/EMS Department. These fire fighters mainly work weekdays between 0700 and 1500 hours. Two career firefighters are on rotating shifts 24 hours. So far this year, the CVFD has responded to nearly 70 Working Fires.
Live-In Requirements:

*Volunteers will be fit tested and issued an SCBA facepiece and regulator upon completion of the background check and physical administered by the PG Fire/EMS Department.
Live-In Expectations: Live in members are expected to spend four nights per week in the fire station. When in the station, live-ins are expected to respond to emergencies on whichever apparatus they are needed. They are also required to participate in clean ups, drills and other department activities.
Live-In Amenities: We currently provide 14 semi-private rooms (no doors.) These rooms contain a single bunk with storage underside, a large wardrobe and a nightstand. Each room has a power outlet. The station has numerous computers with FIOS internet service and the kitchen is scheduled to be remodeled to accomodate storage space for live-in's to store food items. Each live-in will also be assigned a turnout gear locker.
