| Sally Brown is a familiar face around the Clinton VFD and a proud 2016 inductee into the Prince George's County Volunteer Fire and Rescue Association Hall of Fame. Recently, she was recognized alongside her family for a proud and ongoing tradition of public service that extends well beyond her own individual contributions.
On June 23, 2026, the Maryland State Firefighters Association (MSFA) presented Sally's family with a special certificate titled "In Recognition of a Tradition." The award honors Sally for instilling a deep commitment to community emergency services within her family, and specifically recognizes those who have followed in her footsteps:
Theresa Kaiser (Daughter) – Serving right here with the Clinton VFD, as well as the North Beach VFD.
Mathew Kaiser (Grandson) – Serving with the North Beach VFD.
The MSFA commended both the Clinton VFD and North Beach VFD for encouraging family involvement, and applauded the Brown and Kaiser family for dedicating the time required to support emergency services in our Maryland communities.
The accompanying photograph captures a proud moment for the family, showing three generations of dedicated public servants standing together in their dress uniforms.
The Clinton VFD extends its heartfelt congratulations to Sally, Theresa, and Mather for carrying on this remarkable tradition. If you see them around the station, be sure to congratulate them! |
